ABOUT KEVIN BAKER:
Kevin Baker is the owner and primary entertainer for Kevin Baker Entertainment. 

For Kevin, the love and passion for music and entertainment  started at a young age.  Receiving his first drumset at the age of 4 was the catalyst of what was to come.   Playing drums in bands throughout high school, Kevin got his first real break the summer of 1995, when he graduated high school and was brought on as the drummer for the band, "The DeVilles".   At the time, The DeVilles were a well established 50's & 60's band playing throughout that state of Michigan.  Playing large events, fairs and opening for major nationally known recording artists from the 50's & 60's.

When not traveling and playing events with the band, Kevin continued to build his first DJ & Karaoke business called "Just Add Music" while working as an On-Air DJ for a HOT COUNTRY radio station in his home town.   As his DJ & Karaoke business quickly grew, he found himself to be running the second, most in demand DJ & Karaoke business within Michigan.  Later to partner with the #1 DJ & Karaoke business.   In his down time, Kevin began to teach himself guitar.  Which then eventually turned into songwriting and playing solo acoustic performances.

After about 8 years within the DJ & Karaoke business, Kevin decided to refocus on some other areas of life that included a career change, getting married and having a family, while still pursuing songwriting and live acoustic performing.

The song writing led to partnering with another established songwriter for a period time writing and recording original material within the country music scene as well as the contemporary Christian music scene.

After recording his second Christian album, Kevin put a band together and traveled to promote the new release.  After gaining some notoriety with his second release, Kevin had the opportunity to record in Nashville TN with Dolly Parton's producer.  This produced Kevin's radio single titled "Take Me Away".

After a period of time recording and traveling, in 2013 Kevin decided it was time to settle back down again and take some time to rest and enjoy family.

Now after 25 years of being in an established career, that included music, live production and vocational music ministry, Kevin has decided to make the jump back into full time music and entertainment for himself. 

Born and raised in Battle Creek, MI  (Cereal City as some call it) , Kevin and his family now reside in the beautiful state of North Carolina.
